Professionally, Hani is a medical doctor with more than seven years of experience working in the medical and public health fields. His medical focus is on primary healthcare, specializing in the health of women and children. He has extensive experience working in the humanitarian relief sector mainly in the context of conflicts, disasters and emergencies. Hani has worked with a range of global nonprofit organizations as a healthcare provider and consultant including Doctors Without Borders and the World Health Organization. He is a prolific medical researcher and worked as a medical and public health specialist for Sudan Federal Ministry of Health.
