Julie Mae Gabato
Julie “Mae” Gabato is a seasoned sustainability and climate-risk expert with over 15 years of experience. She has a proven track record of helping organizations integrate sustainability into their core operations and achieve ambitious climate goals.
At Uplift, Mae supports clients in developing robust GHG accounting processes, decarbonization strategies, and climate-related risk assessments. She also leads sustainability efforts at Worldwide Flight Services, where she drives initiatives to reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency, and enhance sustainability reporting.
Prior to her current roles, Mae held positions at the US EPA, World Bank/IFC, and DHL Express Asia Pacific. Her experience spans a wide range of sustainability topics, including ESG reporting, stakeholder engagement, supply chain sustainability, and carbon markets.
Mae holds a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University SAIS and a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of San Carlos. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Sustainability and Climate Risk Certification.
When she’s not working, Mae enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, baking, and exploring the great outdoors.
