Dwayne Ferguson

Dwayne is a sustainability professional with extensive project management experience, specializing in strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and understanding the impact of remote work on emissions for Uplift clients. Prior to joining Uplift, Dwayne excelled in improving playground safety and researching the impact of warehouse emissions on soil quality at playgrounds.

Dwayne holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Virginia State University and a master's degree in environmental science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he studied the spatial impacts of industrial facilities on the soil lead concentrations of parks and recreational spaces. Additionally, Dwayne is passionate about fostering and exploring the environmental science identities of underrepresented middle and high school students within the Metro East area of St. Louis through his participation in youth community outreach programs.

Dwayne brings clients the expertise needed to ensure that environmental decisions are being made equitably. In his spare time, Dwayne loves to stay active by exercising and training at the gym, as well as volunteering with his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
