Joshua Walker

Joshua is a passionate, impact-oriented sustainability professional motivated to holistically change the way business is done; at the scale required to combat climate change and the vast number of related environmental and social issues. In addition to comprehensive ESG consulting, his experience has included a focus on sustainability in the built environment, energy efficiency programs and local government. 

As the ESG Strategy and Reporting Manager, he diligently works with Uplift clients to continuously improve upon their ESG & sustainability programs. 

Joshua holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Michigan State University, as well as a master's degree in Sustainable Business and Innovation from EADA Business School. Joshua also actively maintains his ISSP-SEA and LEED Green Associate certifications, and is always eager to further his own education in the ever-changing sustainability field. 

Based in Chicago, Joshua enjoys spending time along the shores of Lake Michigan, relaxing in green spaces like Lincoln Park, and always seeking out new restaurants or experiences around the city. Outside of the Windy City, he regularly visits friends and family in his home state of Michigan. Joshua is also an avid reader, frequent traveler and self-taught home cook.
