Angeline Kong
Angie is a dedicated sustainability professional with extensive expertise in climate solutions and a passion for driving positive environmental impact. At Uplift, she partners with clients to develop comprehensive GHG emissions inventories, set and achieve ambitious climate targets, and transition to low-carbon sustainable business models.
With a diverse background that spans corporate sustainability, responsible sourcing, advisory services, and carbon project development, Angie brings a unique combination of technical proficiency and industry insights that she is able to leverage as foundations for advancing climate action.
Prior to Uplift, Angie has been working in the agricultural sector to drive the adoption of regenerative practices and nature-based solutions within voluntary carbon markets. She also honed her expertise in carbon accounting through her roles at EcoAct and Persefoni, where she advised organizations on emissions quantification and reduction strategies, while developing sophisticated climate software tools to ensure alignment with frameworks like the GHG Protocol and carbon disclosure practices. Her experience extends into the fashion industry at Eileen Fisher, where she worked on pioneering sustainability initiatives to drive measurable impact across supply chains and at the brand level.
Angie holds a B.S in Environmental Science (Env. Engineering minor) and B.A. in Political Science from UCLA, as well as a M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. Angie is an outdoor enthusiast and all season adventurer, embracing California’s majestic mountains as a playground for skiing, rock climbing, trekking, and running.
