How to Bring Your Social Impact Story to Life

We all know what it’s like to be moved by an impactful story that urges us to think, act, and do great things in life and the world around us. Do your social impact communications do the same thing?

As companies are increasingly being held accountable for their social and environmental responsibility work, storytelling is an effective tool to better communicate their commitment to being a responsible business. However, crafting a narrative that can bring initiatives to life and engage, inspire, and motivate readers isn’t always easy.

Here are some tips to help you use more impactful language and storytelling to bring your corporate sustainability initiatives to life and create the support and inspiration you need for meaningful change from Uplift’s VP of Communications, Advocacy & Impact, Chris McGrath.

The new directive would not only require all packaging to be designed as recyclable or reusable by 2030 but also push towards a circular economy.

Check out this blog by Uplift’s Dwayne Ferguson for more information on the PPWD and how your business can prepare for the revised directive.

Breaking Barriers: Advancing Corporate DEI Strategies for Lasting Change

Why are companies not making more progress on their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals?

Improving outcomes for historically underrepresented and marginalized people starts with taking deliberate action.

Check out this post from Uplift’s Director of Social Impact, Jerome Tennille and read his suggestions on how you can take action and improve outcomes: Here
